The Los Banos City Council voted to award Mid-Valley Disposal the contract to become the City’s new solid waste and recycling services provider for the residents and businesses of Los Banos.

Mid Valley Disposal began services on July 1, 2021.

New Cart Delivery


  • Mid Valley Disposal will begin delivering new carts the week of July 5th and deliveries will be completed by July 23rd. Look for the Welcome Packet attached to your new carts.


  • Customers will receive their carts the day before their scheduled service day (E.g., if your trash is picked up on Wednesday, your new carts will be delivered on Tuesday). As soon as you receive your new carts, remove them from curb.


  • When you receive your new carts, place ALL old carts curb side for collection and removal.  Put all old carts out even if they are not full. The old carts will be removed on your scheduled collection day.

 

  • If you've been notified of a new waste collection day, then your street sweeping day will also change.
