Mid Valley Disposal Expands Service Area
Amid recent and continuous growth, Mid Valley Disposal (MVD) has purchased Granite Solid Waste, which serves Eastern Fresno County’s Foothills and Shaver Lake communities. The transaction will occur on March 1, 2024.
This acquisition allows for the integration of Granite Solid Waste’s existing equipment and employees, strengthening MVD’s operation to over 200 collection trucks and 400 employees spanning the Central Valley.
“We’re proud to welcome the residents and businesses of the Foothills and Shaver Lake into the Mid Valley Disposal family,” said Joseph Kalpakoff, CEO of Mid Valley Disposal. “Through engagement with the community, our fantastic customer service team, and successful compliance to state and local policies, MVD will ensure a seamless transition of services for our newest customers.”
Founded in 1997, Mid Valley Disposal is the largest family owned and operated solid waste service provider in the Central Valley.
Granite Solid Waste has been a family company, providing refuse and recycling services to Eastern Fresno County for over 40 years.
“We would like to thank Foothill and Mountain residents who have supported our family business for over 40 years,” said Joe DeLecce, President of Granite Solid Waste.
